Vineyard Machine Pruning Methods
Hedge, or box pruning, requires hedging the canopy back into a box based on the dimensions of the trellis. A “V” or minimally pruned cordon train system involves making a V-cut from the cordon up and out to leave upright growth. Crews are still needed to follow behind the pruning machines to clean up debris.
